Tears X Joy

*Psalm 126:5-6 (NIV) 5 Those who sow with tears will reap with songs of joy. 6 Those who go out weeping, carrying seed to sow, will return with songs of joy, carrying sheaves with them.

The tears fall softly, watering the ground,

Each drop a prayer, each sob a sound.

Through fields of sorrow, the faithful sow,

With hearts bowed low and steps so slow.

For those who weep as they plant in despair

Will gather with joy the harvest they bear.

The hands that trembled, the eyes that cried,

Will lift the sheaves, with God as their guide.

The seed is buried, hidden in the deep,

Planted in grief, but guarded in sleep.

Though pain lingers through the longest night,

The dawn will break with radiant light.
